Doodle Bug Workshop

Last week, Ian Brealey, the artist that painted the mural in the corridor, came in to present a workshop about drawing. He gave us some tips on how he draws his murals. We followed his step-by-step instructions to draw Wallace. What do you think?

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

We are nearly finished reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
After half-term we will watch the film and compare it to the book.

Our balanced Meals

In science we have been learning about eating a balanced diet. Everyone has come up with their own balanced meal which includes Carbohydrates, Protein and Fruit/Veg. Some children have even managed to include oils and fats. We then made a 3D version of our meal. Leave a comment to tell us what you included in your balanced meal.

Super Symmetry

Investigating symmetry has fascinated us....from car badges to butterflies!

 

 

 

We enjoyed making our own natural pictures; by the time we had finished, they were super symmetrical!

 

 

 

This week we have enjoyed learning about symmetry.

We have looked for images in nature and even symmetrical car badges.

We had fun exploring photography using symmetry on the ipad too!

 

Today we really enjoyed our Zumba session. Thank you to Mrs Jenkin!

We learnt all about different dances from around the world too!
